Escape to Kergudon Gîtes at St Cadou, nestled peacefully in the heart of Finistère and offering the very best in rural French country living. Since its construction in 1640 the old presbytery at Kergudon has provided accommodation for the clergy overseeing the construction of the church at St Cadou, and has acted as a serene rest stop for travellers and pilgrims alike.
Granary is a perfect family holiday cottage in Brittany and sleeps 6 over 3 floors with 2 lounge areas and 2 bathrooms as well as a large, secure and private garden area.
Granary gite has recently completed major refurbishment with all of the rooms being redecorated and all of the furnishing replaced to make a light, airy, comfortable ‘beach style’ gite.
The ground floor consists of a fitted kitchen with gas oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and large fridge freezer. There is a dining table for up to 8 diners and 2 comfy armchairs next to a wood burning stove which can provide heat to the whole cottage. The family bathroom with bath and over-bath shower is also on the ground floor.
The lounge area on the first floor has 2 sofas, a daybed, television, DVD player and Bluetooth enabled stereo. Leading off the lounge is the master double bedroom en-suite shower room and toilet
The second floor consists of a twin and a double room. A cot can be set up in any of the bedrooms.
The large secure garden has metal and mosaic furniture, parasol and a BBQ. It is on the south side of the building so captures sun throughout the day. A large paddling pool can be provided if required. Allocated parking for 2 cars is adjacent to the building.
We do not allow dogs to stay in Granary so is suitable for those who suffer from allergies.
