Looking south, the house has its own 700 square -meter very private garden, closed and shady and its own closed and private parking area. The village of Jonquerettes offers a perfect location and access to all the major touristic places of the area. Close to Avignon, reputed for its historical patrimony and its internationally renowned drama festival, and the village of l’Isle sur la Sorgue, well-known European place for antique and second-hand furniture dealers, a lovely place for wandering through its local open market on a sunny Sunday morning. If required, we can inform you about the best places to visit as well as local markets, restaurants, vine growers, Côtes du Rhône among the best ones, etc. Two golf courses (18-hole) are located less than 3 miles from the house and for those in search of river activities, rowing and canoë, are offered on the nearby Sorgue river . Bike rental is also possible for those who wish to visit the surrounding countryside at their own speed and comfort. For both children and adults, a new water theme park is located in Monteux, about 6 miles from Jonquerettes. You will of course, if that is your choice, enjoy reading in the quiet and shady garden of the house or enjoy the pleasure of our Provence sun.
