Just 3km from Ax, the Chioula ski area offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledging and dog-sledding in a natural setting, while the small resort of Ascou-Pailhères offers downhill skiing in a family atmosphere. Just 30km from Ax, the Plateau de Beilles also offers cross-country skiing and dog-sledding in its vast Nordic area.
