Allemond offers the Eau d’Olle Express gondola, connecting to the Alpe d’Huez ski area via Oz en Oisans in just 8 minutes, also accessible for bicycles and mountain bikes in summer. The gondola station is a 4-minute drive from the chalet and can also be reached on foot or by bike in 12 minutes, or via the free shuttle located 100 meters away, operating during the winter season. Heated ski lockers are available at the Eau d’Olle Express gondola station, allowing you to store your equipment conveniently after a day on the slopes. In warmer months, many cycling routes provide access to legendary Alpine climbs, including the famous 21 hairpin bends of Alpe d’Huez. A free summer shuttle, Trans’Oisans, connects Allemond to Vaujany and Venosc (Les 2 Alpes ski area). Guests can also enjoy hiking and mountain biking trails, the nautical base at Lake Verney, and lively summer night markets. The code will be sent to you on the day of your arrival. A spare key to the front door of the chalet and a key to the garage are in the cupboard on the right as you enter the entrance hall. These gondolas are a 3-minute drive from the accommodation or can be accessed by the free shuttle bus located at the foot of the church (100 metres from the accommodation), which operates during the winter season. There is also a free shuttle service in summer linking Allemond to Vaujany or Venosc (Les 2 Alpes ski area). There are numerous hiking and mountain-biking trails nearby, as well as the Lac du Verney water sports centre and summer night markets (Allemond and Oz). Numerous cycle routes are available from Allemond, enabling you to discover some of France's most famous and attractive mountain passes, including the famous 21 S of Alpe d'Huez. You can also go hiking from the chalet, and there are plenty of signposted routes to guide you! This is a narrow, one-way street and you will need to reverse if you wish to unload your luggage before parking in the free Creytel car park near the church, 150 metres from the accommodation. If you prefer, you can park directly in the Creytel car park to unload your luggage.
