For holidays, a weekend or a cure in Ussat les bains in a residence surrounded by parkland and ancient trees. The gite has been awarded the "3 clefs" and 3 \*\*\* Meublés de Tourisme labels.

The flat "Le Refuge des Ecureuils" can accommodate up to 2 people. It has a surface area of 33 m².

It is close to a number of places of interest that are not to be missed (the Lombrives cave, the largest in Europe, the Niaux cave with its original prehistoric drawings, the Foix castle and its interactive museum).

Andorra, the magnificent city of Carcassonne and Toulouse are just an hour's drive away. For cycling fans, there are the must-do Tour de France circuits and this year's finish at the Plateau de Beille on 14 July. And what else? Water activities such as canoeing 2 km away, rafting for the more sporty or pedal-boating at the water sports centre and its water-skiing facilities!

In fact, there's so much to do!

You can enjoy hiking or relax at the spa.

The gite is 5 minutes from the spa in Ussat les bains, and 2 km from the centre of Tarascon/Ariège for all shops and services. Private parking for your car in the residence car park.

SHORT STAY PACKAGE: from 2 nights including bed, towels, tea towel, hand towels, electricity/heating and end-of-stay cleaning.

WEEKLY PACKAGE: includes bed made up, 8kw/d electricity, end-of-stay cleaning at your expense.

For your comfort, we have equipped the flat as follows:

\* A fitted kitchen/dining area with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and small electrical appliances.

\* A lounge area with flat-screen TV. You'll stay connected thanks to Wifi.

\* The sleeping area has a 140 cm bed and I provide the bed linen.

\* We've opted for a bathroom with a bath, a bathroom cabinet for extra storage space, a hairdryer and towel rail and a washing machine. You need to think about your towels. Alternatively, you can hire towels.

Located on the 1st floor with lift, it faces due south, ideal for enjoying the benefits of sunlight.

The gite does not welcome animals, even though we love them.

The gîte "Le Refuge des Ecureuils" is located near Beille, in Ariège, for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing in winter and hiking the rest of the year. Plenty of sites to visit open all year round (Lombrives cave, Foix castle) or from April to November (prehistory park, Forges de Pyrènes) to discover the Ariège.
