Less than 100 metres from the coast, you can reach the coastal path and an unspoilt, unsupervised beach in just a few moments – perfect for morning walks, family games or relaxing by the sea. Designed to comfortably accommodate up to ten people, the house combines spacious rooms, modern facilities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making it ideal for large families or holidays with friends. A fully equipped family home The house has five bedrooms spread over two floors: Upstairs, there is a small bedroom with two single beds, specially designed for children, as well as two bedrooms with double beds. A reading nook on the landing allows everyone to find their own space to relax. On the ground floor, there are two further bedrooms with double beds, offering easy access for everyone. The bathrooms are conveniently laid out: Upstairs, there is a bright and functional bathroom with a toilet. On the ground floor, there is a large shower room fitted with a spacious shower. The toilet, accessible from this shower room, is separated by a door for added comfort and privacy. The fully equipped kitchen, which opens onto the dining room, is ideal for preparing and sharing convivial meals. It has everything you need to cook just as you would at home. The sitting area, complete with a television, offers a pleasant space to relax after a day at the beach or out hiking. A selection of board games is provided for entertaining evenings. Free internet access is available throughout the house. Practical facilities and extra comfort Outside, a separate utility room, accessible via the garden, provides: a washing machine, an extra fridge, a small freezer, as well as a sink, ideal for rinsing off beach gear or cleaning shells after a spot of shellfish gathering. Beaches and water sports Just a few minutes from the house, you can enjoy several iconic beaches: La Mine d’Or beach, famous for its golden cliffs, is a must-visit spot for walks, sunsets and photography. Loscolo Beach, much loved for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding and water sports. La Source Beach, a more secluded spot, perfect for families with children. Loguy Beach, ideal for those who enjoy shore fishing. The calm waters of the nearby Bay of Pont-Mahé are renowned for windsurfing, kitesurfing and wingfoiling, thanks to particularly favourable conditions. Hiking and nature The famous GR34 trail, which runs the length of the Breton coast, passes just a few metres from the house. It offers exceptional panoramic views of the Vilaine estuary, the cliffs of La Mine d’Or and the surrounding beaches. The coastal paths allow you to explore unspoilt flora and fauna, ideal for nature lovers and photographers. Local attractions and heritage The village of Pénestin boasts a lively market, local producers (mussels, oysters, seafood), as well as seaside restaurants where you can sample regional specialities. Just a few kilometres away, you can visit: La Roche-Bernard, a ‘cité de caractère’ (town of character) with its harbour, medieval alleyways and local craftspeople. The Arzal Dam, offering a unique view of the Vilaine estuary. Guérande, famous for its salt marshes and its fortified medieval town. The Rhuys peninsula or La Baule, for a day trip. Family activities Families will enjoy the many activities available nearby: cycle rides, beach clubs in summer, boat trips, mini-golf, horse riding, leisure parks, not to mention the numerous areas for shellfish gathering that will delight young and old alike. ## Access map The house is situated on Route du Halguen, in a quiet, residential area right next to the coast. From the centre of Pénestin: Follow signs for L’Armor / Le Halguen. Carry on straight ahead until you reach Route du Halguen, which runs along the coast. The house is just a few dozen metres from the shore and is easily recognisable by its enclosed garden and on-site parking spaces.
