Fancy a romantic getaway for two in a natural setting? The Helsinki Lodge, offered by Nordic Lodge Vosges, invites you to enjoy an intimate and exotic experience just 20 minutes from Gérardmer.

Inspired by the Scandinavian way of life, this 28 m² lodge has been designed to offer couples a peaceful retreat. From the terrace, enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery and treat yourself to a moment of relaxation in the private Nordic bath, heated by wood and reaching temperatures of 38 to 40 °C. A particularly pleasant experience after a day’s hiking.

A cosy retreat for two:

The Helsinki Lodge comfortably accommodates two people in a warm and tastefully appointed atmosphere.

The bedroom features a king-size bed (180 x 200 cm), made up with premium bed linen by Garnier-Thiebaut or Linvosges. On cooler evenings, the wood-burning stove creates a warm and cosy atmosphere, with wood provided on site.

The lodge also has an electric heating system for your comfort.

The kitchen, compact yet fully equipped, makes it easy to prepare your meals: induction hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, raclette machine and bean-to-cup espresso machine. The coffee, roasted in the Vosges by Café Canton, is provided free of charge. Locally sourced tea and herbal teas are also available.

The large bathroom offers true comfort with its wall-hung toilet and spacious walk-in shower (100 x 180 cm), fitted with a rain shower head. Linvosges towels and bathrobes are provided to prolong this feeling of well-being.

A Nordic bath surrounded by nature:

Outside, the terrace is one of the Lodge Helsinki’s great assets. Settle into the armchairs, take the time to admire the surrounding countryside and let the stresses of daily life fade away.

The private, wood-fired Nordic hot tub allows you to enjoy a moment of relaxation in the heart of nature.

In the morning, extend your moment of tranquillity without having to leave your cosy retreat.

Part of your breakfast is delivered directly to your terrace every morning, including bread and pastries or a flaky brioche, subject to availability. The rest of your breakfast will be waiting for you in the fridge upon your arrival.

The Helsinki Lodge enjoys a prime setting from which to make the most of the Vosges countryside. The forest is right on your doorstep and hiking trails are within walking distance of the lodge.

Mountain enthusiasts can easily reach several must-see destinations: Gérardmer and its ski resort, about 20 minutes away; Lac Blanc, 25 minutes away; and La Bresse-Hohneck, 30 minutes away. The Col de la Schlucht, the starting point for numerous hikes, is about 25 minutes away.

The location also makes it easy to explore the region’s heritage and iconic towns: Saint-Dié-des-Vosges is about 15 minutes away, whilst Kaysersberg, Colmar, Épinal, Nancy and Strasbourg are all within reach for a day trip.
