The Domaine de la Loge also benefits from a protected environment that combines peace and serenity. Typical old farmhouse with charm and simplicity, it has been restored in keeping with its regional character, preserving the authenticity of its rural architectural features and using ancient techniques and materials, natural or organic, but always free from pollutants and allergens. Breakfast, consisting mostly of organic products, can be served there or in the garden depending on the weather. Bread, brioche, jams made with fruit of the garden, everything is homemade. 7 jams, 25 kinds of teas, juices, sweet and salty butter, honeys, you will start the day in a very pleasant and energetic way. Due to its method and its construction material, the building benefits from a very appreciable soft natural air conditioning Different forms of diners, all mostly organic, are available on request (small diner, classic and gourmet meals). The table d'hôtes is not always guaranteed. It is on certain evenings and subject to a sufficient number of guests. The "small dinner": green or mixed salad, individual gratin in cast iron casserole, dessert and a glass of wine for 19 euros per person. On the A72 motorway, exit at Feurs Take the D1089 left towards Boën, then immediately after passing over the motorway, turn left towards Poncins. Follow Poncins as far as the village. Go through Poncins, then after the Mairie, turn right towards Montverdun. From there, allow 3.5 km: a small, very narrow bridge, then, after a straight stretch, you pass "Les Perrichons" and "le Clos de la Renardine", the road bends slightly, another straight stretch, then a farm on the right, then an area of undergrowth. There are two signs indicating the name of the road, which changes at the municipal boundary. The house is just outside this undergrowth, on the right. You only see it at the last moment. The car park is signposted with "Clévacances", "Le Routard" and "TopRural" banners on the two gate pillars. We wish you a pleasant journey! If you are arriving via Montbrison: Leave Montbrison to the north (Boën), and follow the signs for "Chalain d'Uzore" / "La Bâtie d'Urfé". Always follow "La Bastie d'Urfé". Drive through Saint-Paul d'Uzore. The road winds through the countryside and you come to a stop sign where you cannot go straight on. Follow "La Bastie d'Urfé" to the left and then, after 1.3 km, turn right (do not take "Montverdun"). After another 1 km, you will come to a crossroads (Saint-Clément). Turn right (arrow "Chambres d'hôtes La Loge") (\*). Drive for 1.7 km. You will pass several houses on the right and left, then a road mirror on the left: continue for 300m. You will spot the red brick workshop under construction from a distance. The house is on the left. The 2nd gate after the barn and the main house ("Clévacances", "Le Routard" and "TopRural" signs) gives access to the car park. From Montverdun, take the road opposite Café-bar "le 141", past the bakery. At the small roundabout (with a tree in the middle), turn right and leave the village. After about 2 km, you will come to the Saint-Clément crossroads. Continue straight ahead, where there is a sign pointing you in the direction of Domaine de La Loge. Then follow the previous route from (\*).
