## Nearby

Le Tréport: A seaside resort close to Paris, but also a fishing port. In November, don't miss the herring fair! On the town side, numerous restaurants offer seafood platters and cooked fish, a real bowl of iodine! Take the funicular up to the top of the cliff. From here, you can look out over Le Tréport, with the Cordiers district at its foot, across to Mers-sur-Bains and the Somme, and inland to the town of Eu, the 3 sister towns.

You can visit the church of St Jacques, the Vieux-Tréport museum, stroll along the streets of the Cordiers district to admire the decorations on the houses...

Eu, 2 km from our beautiful fisherman's cottage. The town of Eu offers visitors a rich and varied heritage: the archaeological site of Bois-L'abbé, the 12th-century collegiate church, the 17th-century hospices, the chapel of the Jesuit college built in 1613 and housing the cenotaphs of Catherine de Clèves and Henri de Guise, and the museum of glassmaking traditions, reminding us that 80% of the world's production of perfume bottles takes place in the Bresle valley.

One of its major attractions is the Château Louis-Philippe Museum. It houses an extensive and diverse collection of paintings, graphic arts, sculptures, furniture, objets d'art and souvenirs from Brazil. There is also the château park and its beautiful rose garden.

Cross the Bresle and you're in the Somme. A little further up, you can take a walk in the Bay of the Somme.

Dieppe: 35 minutes from our beautiful house in Normandy.

The fishing port of Dieppe is very well known as it is the leading French port for scallops, which you can of course sample in many restaurants in autumn and winter. Beach, harbours, seafront, cliffs, vast and magnificent spaces with multiple reflections, right in front of you: La Manche. France's oldest seaside resort welcomes you. Stroll along the Quai Henri IV, with its many colourful facades, along the harbour, and embark on a trip out to sea or discover Dieppe on board the little train, Visit Dieppe. Enter the heart of the town with the St Catherine district with its light-coloured brick houses, the St Jacques church with its frieze of savages inside, the Grande rue with its many shops, its Saturday morning market...\_.

In addition to the Musée de l\_'Estran Cité de la mer\_ (great for children, they can stroke the stingrays), Les Bains, the aquatic centre and its wellness area, climb up to the Château Musée de Dieppe and its incredible collection of carved ivories\_. \_

Normandy is a land of gardens. The Bois des Moutiers and its superb park of azaleas and rhododendrons, Shamrock and its hydrangeas, the gardens of Vastérival, all at Varengeville-sur-Mer - don't forget to make a detour to the church of St Valery overlooking the sea and its marine cemetery, the gardens of Offranville, the vegetable garden of the château de Miromesnil at Tourville-sur-Arques\_.
