The jewels of our heritage open their doors to tell you their history and secrets: the Henri IV château in Nérac evokes the heyday of Albret during the Renaissance, the Moulin des Tours de Barbaste fortress and the fortified bastide towns of Vianne and Lamontjoie bring its medieval past back to life, the Museum of natural cork and stoppers in Mézin passes on its industrial heritage.
The emblematic produce of the south west can be tasted where they are produced, on the markets: fruit and vegetables, duck foie gras, Agen prunes and wine appellations with a unique range of wines: Buzet, Côtes de Gascogne and Brulhois, but also Armagnac and Floc de Gascogne !
100% nature excursions invite you to discover a mosaic of landscapes: from a short walk in the vineyards of the Gascony hills, to a sports hike through the Landes forest, or a bike tour through the Canal de Garonne and the Baïse and Gélise river valleys.
Share unforgettable experiences: a geocaching treasure hunt activity organised by Terra Aventura, climb into the trees at the Cap Cauderoue leisure centre and even get on board the tourist train or a railbike (bike on disused railway).
Boating, on the Baïse and Gélise wild rivers or on the calm Canal de Garonne, on a house boat, a pleasure boat or at the helm of your own gabarot (flat top pleasure boat)...
Land of conviviality with the festive Gascon spirit: travel around and make some wonderful encounters during the festivities. Here, having a good time is a form of art!
What better than a summer swim to cool off! At the Lud’O Parc in Nérac there is fun for everyone in the pools and with the water games. At the outside swimming pools in Mézin and Moncrabeau or covered pools in Nérac swim to your heart’s content.
