Welcome to our bed and breakfast "Histoire d'anges"! We'd like to extend a warm welcome to you in Singles, near Le Mont-Dore, in the heart of the Massif du Sancy, in a pretty traditional house with a stone facade. Carefully renovated, it subtly combines old-world charm with modern comforts. It's an idyllic retreat for nature lovers and mountain enthusiasts. Everything has been designed to offer you comfort and relaxation! Four guest rooms are available (from 2 to 6 people) for a total capacity of 14 people. The Michaël room is designed to accommodate 2 people, with a bedroom (1 x 160cm bed) and en-suite shower room with separate WC. You'll also have access to our large, fully enclosed garden, where we've laid out : - "le Patio", a pretty, fully-equipped outbuilding for breakfasts featuring local gourmet (sweet and savoury) or homemade products. We also offer picnic lunches and a table d'hôtes for convivial evenings of traditional cooking. You can also enjoy your meals on the terrace. The patio and its facilities are available for a supplement of €7/day. - A cosy corner sheltered under a pretty arbour, with garden furniture, brazier, barbecue or gas plancha for your outdoor meals, relaxing moments spent sipping roasted marshmallows or remaking the world under the stars! - A magnificent spa - with indoor bike - available on request for €20/hour/person (bathrobe and towel included). Open all year round, we wish you a pleasant stay and look forward to seeing you! Our services : - Courtesy tray and welcome products in every room - Table d'hôtes with home-made starters, main course and dessert (28€/person). Complimentary aperitif! - Baby equipment on request: cot with mattress and sheets, stroller, high chair, baby carrier... - Bike/mountain bike loan, table tennis, table soccer, outdoor games (molky, petanque balls - petanque court nearby -, badminton ...), swing, board games, TV and karaoke in "le Patio" ... - Free WIFI, NETFLIX in all rooms, reversible air conditioning - Reservations for a minimum of 2 nights (January to March) or 3 nights (April to December). - Small dogs accepted, by prior arrangement with the owners, only in the Michaël room (€25/pet/day). Nearby: Tauves and its church, Le Mont-Dore (with its ski resort and thermal baths), La Bourboule, the Barthe waterfall, the Dordogne valley, the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne and its many lakes (including Lac du Guéry, the highest in the Auvergne), the Château de Val, picturesque villages in the surrounding area (Bagnols, La Tour-d'Auvergne, Saint-Sauves-d'Auvergne ...).
