Our history

In the 1990s, the explosion in uncontrolled holiday rentals prompted French tourism professionals to react, creating regional labels.

In 1995, the merger of 3 labels: Cléconfort, Nid Vacances and Meublés Confiance gave rise to the Clévacances label, which was recognised and approved in 1997 by the Ministry of Tourism.

The label is a quality benchmark and stands out as the 100% French generalist network of holiday rentals with guaranteed quality verified by the label's expert advisors.

Each accommodation is labelled in compliance with the demanding Charte de Qualité Clévacances, which is based on more than 300 criteria.
