This superb vacation rental, classified 4 keys, has an excellent level of comfort and equipment. It occupies a stone barn renovated with quality materials. The decoration is sober and contemporary.

The open kitchen and the living room form a single space making the large living room of 70 m2 a pleasant place for moments of conviviality and meals. A comfortable XXL sofa and some antique furniture occupy the room, without cluttering it. The wood-paneled ceilings, in a light tone, and the openings in the roof bring in beautiful light.

Arranged around a central island, the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary storage and household appliances. In its extension, the outdoor terrace is designed as an extension of the living room. You will enjoy lounging in the sun loungers or enjoying the swimming pool, whose water is heated.

In the generous volume of the main room, a mezzanine has been created, which makes it possible to have additional spaces by taking advantage of the full height under the ceiling. A bedroom, with a 140 cm double bed, is installed there.

This cottage has 4 independent bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one of which is upstairs. Two bedrooms have a double bed (160 cm), a third with a double bed (140 cm) and the fourth with 2 single beds (90 cm).

The bathrooms are equipped with large walk-in showers. One includes a changing table. If you come on holiday with a baby, a kit will be made available to you. To ensure optimal comfort, sheets and towels are provided.

On the ground floor, a relaxation area with shower and spa is fitted out. A small supplement will be required to access it. There's nothing like a spa to relax your body and mind and recharge your batteries!

In fine weather, thanks to the garden furniture and the barbecue, you can enjoy your meals outside. A laundry room with washing machine and a garage for a car, motorcycle or boat are part of the additional equipment.

The town of Lacapelle-Viescamp is less than 20 km from Aurillac and 5 km south-west of Saint-Paul-des-Landes. It is bathed by the hydroelectric dam lake of Saint-Étienne-Cantalès.

Swimming, fishing, walking or water sports, the shores of the lake are ideal for many activities. The Puech des Ouilhes, is a peninsula born from the water retention of the dam. The site has been the subject of many developments that will make you spend pleasant moments in a green setting.

If you feel like taking a dip, a beach has been laid out and swimming is supervised in summer. The youngest will have fun in the floating paddling pool as well as in the playground dedicated to them. Sailboats, electric boats, paddles, windsurfing boards, pedal boats, canoe, you can rent boats and go sailing on the water!

Early in the morning or at the end of the day, take the wooden path on stilts that winds around the peninsula, from the islet to the marina. A sound & light show takes place there during the summer period. You will also find catering facilities and picnic areas.

Easily accessible from the shore or by boat, thanks to 3 launches (Espinet, Renac and Puech des Ouilhes), the lake of Saint-Étienne-Cantalès is a mecca for zander fishing. Perch, pike, carp, white fish, catfish and black bass frequent the waters of the lake. Night fishing areas reserved for carp anglers have been set up. Confirmed fishermen and amateurs will undoubtedly find something to satisfy their passion!

To discover the fauna, flora and rural heritage, nothing beats a hike or mountain bike ride. The Bassin d'Aurillac has 39 circuits of different levels which will be suitable for a family outing or a sporting outing.

If you are looking for exceptional natural landscapes, head for the Vallée de la Jordanne. The nature resort, in Mandailles-Saint-Julien, about forty kilometers from your vacation rental, is an interesting stopover for exploring the Cantal volcano. This place brings together players in sport, tourism and their outdoor activities.

The ascent of Puy Mary, classified as a Grand Site de France, the most famous of the Cantal mountains, starts from the Col du Pas de Peyrol. A landscaped path provides access to its summit. At 1,783 meters above sea level, you can contemplate the seven glacial valleys that radiate like a star around Puy Mary.

Another attraction of Cantal is its architectural heritage: chapels, castles and picturesque villages are part of the landscape. Between visits to the Small Towns of Character ® of Laroquebrou (12 km from your accommodation) and Marcolès (23 km) and the unmissable Salers (50 km), ranked among the Most Beautiful Villages in France, you can take beautiful walks.

Take the time to make a detour to Aurillac, the prefecture of the department.
