This cottage, with a capacity of 5 people, is ideal for a couple or a family with children. It is located in the Alagnon valley, 2 km from Murat, in the heart of the Monts du Cantal.

A wooden chalet for 100% natural holidays


In this 38 m² chalet, you will find all the comfort and warmth of wood.


The ground floor is organized around a large living room with a wood stove. The functional kitchen area is equipped with a hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.


The chalet consists of 2 bedrooms, one of which is located upstairs on the mezzanine. Sheets are not provided, they are offered as additional services. If you come with young children, a baby kit is available to you. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.


The rental offers free wifi access and a TV.


From the terrace, you can enjoy the splendid view of the Monts du Cantal. To breathe the quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the garden, a lounge, deck chairs and a barbecue are at your disposal. The garden has a play area (slide and swing) for children.


Pets are accepted. However, it is requested to inform the owner at the time of booking.


The owners live in the village and are very available.
They offer a catering service and prepare delicious homemade dishes. Truffade and aligot, you know?

To practice winter sports, head towards the Lioran resort, just 10 minutes by car from your rental. Skiing, sledding, snowshoeing... independently or accompanied, it's up to you! The rest of the year the resort diversifies its leisure offer to fill up on sensations!


To cross the magnificent mid-mountain landscapes of the Monts du Cantal, hiking is particularly suitable. From family walks, to more sporty routes, from passage through the forest to the emblematic GR® 400, you will enjoy a wild and preserved nature.

For a more relaxing outing, take the direction of Murat. This small city of character is only 2 km from your cottage. The city of 3 rocks has many remarkable monuments and heritage items. Murat is also famous for its cornets: an ancestral pastry made from eggs, sugar and flour.


Your stay in the Alagon valley will necessarily rhyme with local products. Visits to the farm or country markets, all the occasions will be good to appreciate the local specialties: starting with the cheese!
