A vacation rental north of Entraygues-sur-Truyère
We welcome you to this vacation rental in Lapeyrugue, a town populated by around a hundred souls, north of Entraygues-sur-Truyère, more precisely located at the eastern end of Cantal, on the edge of the department of 'Aveyron. This is a beautiful stone village house with an area of 80 m2, with a capacity for 4 people. This two-story holiday home has been carefully renovated, offering maximum comfort to its occupants all year round. On the ground floor, there is a bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, freezer, washing machine, coffee maker, etc.) as well as a 28 m2 living room. At the heart of this living room, there is a Cantou - an emblematic southwest fireplace - and a wood stove. Upstairs there are two bedrooms of 11 and 16 m2, respectively equipped with a 140cm bed and twin beds. The exterior is also very pleasant, it is made up of a terrace equipped with a barbecue and a fully enclosed and secure garden, equipped with sun loungers. Without forgetting the panoramic view of the Truyère valley! For these various reasons, this house with garden in Cantal is ideal for families staying in our accommodation with their animals. Note also that an internet connection allows guests to communicate with their loved ones as well as access their favorite online services during their vacation. From the Gorges de la Truyère to the medieval towns of Cantal
As a first curiosity, you can ask to go see the owners' beautiful farm. Then, if you are eager to explore, you will not be bored for a single second! We first suggest that you escape to the heart of the wild Truyère gorges, without which the region would obviously not have the same charm. For lovers of beautiful stones, we particularly recommend visiting the Château d'Anjony, a formidable fortress built in the heart of the Pays Vert, as well as that of the Château de Valon and its superb village. Other destinations may well amaze you during your stay in Auvergne, we are thinking for example of Bozouls, nestled on the edge of high cliffs. There, you will take the time to discover the Sainte-Fauste church, a Romanesque-style building, the Diving Museum and the monumental Canyon, a natural cirque in the shape of a horseshoe. If you feel like it, also make a stop at Conques and Estaing, two towns which also have no shortage of attractions!


Outdoor sports activities and an animal park
To enjoy our sumptuous landscapes and stretch your legs, there's nothing like hiking. With the number of practicable trails around our seasonal rental, you are spoiled for choice! A few kilometers away, you can even do the Loop around the Ruisseau de Ruols, starting from Saint-Hippolyte, or access the Rocher de Pailhol, from Leucamp. To the south of our Cantal holiday home, it is then possible to try kayaking from a leisure center located in Entraygues-sur-Truyère. Are you planning to settle down in Lapeyrugue with your family? A detour into the La Vallée des Daims is essential! Located in Junhac, this animal park is a magical environment where the youngest have the opportunity to feed the different deer. A little further north, in Aurillac, various activities allow children to have a good time. Among them, we are thinking of the Miny Toons and AccrOrillac play area where you can enjoy tree climbing.
