Our gîte "Les Terrasses de Moneaux", a warm and comfortable wooden chalet, welcomes you for stays of 4 people in the heart of the Massif du Sancy, 5 minutes from Lac Chambon.
You'll enjoy a remarkable view of the surrounding mountains from the small village of Moneaux. Many activities await you: hiking in the Chaudefour valley or discovering the many surrounding waterfalls, mountain biking, swimming and water sports in summer, fishing, skiing and winter sports...
In Chambon-sur-Lac and Murol, there are plenty of restaurants and cultural activities for families to enjoy. We are 20-25 minutes from the medieval town of Besse and the nearest ski resorts, and 50 minutes from Puy de Dôme and Clermont-Ferrand.
Our gîte comprises :
- On the first floor, a large living room with sitting area and open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen, a bedroom (2 x 90cm beds that can be joined together) and a shower room. A large cupboard in the entrance hall is ideal for storing your groceries or other items.
- On the 1st floor, a large mezzanine lounge and a master suite (160cm bed) with bathroom (whirlpool bath).
Outside, a large terrace has been laid out with garden furniture, table, benches and deckchairs .... on our large plot of approx. 2000m². There's also a covered shed for your sports equipment and parking in front of the chalet.
We look forward to seeing you at the "Terrasses de Moneaux". Come and discover the volcanoes and lakes of the Auvergne and its culinary specialities (Saint Nectaire, charcuterie, potée auvergnate, truffade, pâtes de fruits...) for a rejuvenating, gourmet vacation!
