La Guinchère is a spacious and comfortable character detached house, situated on the border of the departments of Ille-et-Vilaine, Manche . It has been entirely renovated with taste, in keeping with the long history of this old farmhouse dating from the 17th century.
The gîte is situated in a quiet hamlet 1km from the village of Saint-Georges-de-Reintembault (bakery, cinema, petrol station, supermarket), between Mont-Saint-Michel, Fougères and Dol-de-Bretagne.

It is an ideal spot for holidays with family or friends, to visit Ille-et-Vilaine, Manche or Mayenne. Its beautiful living spaces, its veranda, its large garden are the promise of a successful stay !

The cottage can accommodate up to 5 people and is composed of :

  • Ground floor
- The living room, with a surface area of about 40m2, promises convivial moments around the large fireplace. The dining area has a large solid oak table. The living room is equipped with a fan, a television and additional channels.
- The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and knives for cooking.
- A scullery has a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Independent toilet
- A veranda bringing luminosity and warmth as soon as the first rays of sunshine appear.
1st floor
One of the assets of this house: its relaxation areas for the whole family. A secure mezzanine for small children, and a space for older children with a reading bench, games table, teleworking area, etc.
  • 2nd floor
3 bedrooms with refined decoration and quality bedding:
- 1 attic room for 1 person (bed 140x190 cm)
- 1 large bedroom for 2 persons (bed 140x190 cm)
- 1 room with bunk bed for 2 persons (2 beds 90x190 cm)

  • Sanitary facilities 
- The house has a bathroom with bath, large shower and toilet on the 2nd floor.
- 1 independent WC on the ground floor.

- Courtyard in front of the house with private parking for 2 cars.

- Reception : Not living nearby the keys will be available in a safe box with code. A person will be there from 9:45 a.m. to make sure that you have a pleasant stay when you leave.
- Household linen and towels are not provided.

- Visitor's tax (compulsory) : 0,88€ / adult / night (furnished accommodation with 3 stars)
- Cleaning at the end of the stay (obligatory) : 60€.

Valerie and Patrick fell in love with the region and this house of character with its atypical volumes. They have fitted it out with taste and great care, in a rustic chic style, perfectly coherent with the history of this old farm. The furniture, bedding and household appliances are of the highest quality, "just like us". You will be very comfortable.As we do not live nearby, the keys will be available in a safe with a code.A person will be present from 9.45 am to ensure that you have a pleasant stay when you leave.
