Welcome to Clos de Madon, a gîte with unique charm which harmoniously combines the past and modernity. The owners have carefully restored this 16th century outbuilding, respecting the authenticity of the original materials, particularly the tuffeau stone. The accommodation is nestled in the heart of the historic hamlet of Madon in Candé-sur-Beuvron, a peaceful village located on the route to the Loire castles. For cycle tourism enthusiasts, you will find the “Loire à vélo” and “Châteaux à vélo” routes nearby. Hikers, for their part, can take the GR3 hiking trail accessible just in front of the house. In less than 30 minutes, you can explore the wonderful gardens of Chaumont-sur-Loire as well as the prestigious castles of Chambord, Chenonceau, Amboise, and Blois.The cottage is located opposite the owners' house.


On the ground floor you will find a central living room including a living room (TV, sofa, connected speaker etc.) and an equipped kitchen.



On the left: a bathroom (Italian shower, WC, sink) and a children's bedroom with bunk beds (90x200).


On the right: another bathroom (Italian shower, WC, sink) and a double bedroom (160x200 bed).


Upstairs, left side: a bedroom with double bed (160x200). Right side: a small children's bedroom with two single beds (90x200) and a window overlooking the living room.


Outside, you will find a technical room with washer-dryer and space to store bicycles.


A private terrace is located in front of the gîte, equipped with a barbecue.


The private parking is located in the courtyard closed by an electric gate with code.


The outdoor swimming pool (13x4 m, depth 1.40 m), unheated and accessible until September 15, is shared with the owners (rarely present).


The garden is also shared, with a children's play area and a pétanque court available.


Loan of bicycles, baby equipment (bed, high chair, bath) and Wi-Fi connection are included. The accommodation is non-smoking.
