About this Guest house

Meet your hosts Maryse and Pascal: charming, warm, and endowed with an innate sense of hospitality, Maryse and Pascal welcome you with pleasure in their atypical house in Saint-Sauveur-Le-Vicomte

Maryse, in addition to ensuring your comfort and cleanliness, is a talented sculptor specialized in concrete, bringing a unique artistic touch to your stay.

Pascal, on the other hand, is dedicated to making each of your meals an unforgettable feast. Discover the true meaning of "service à la française" with delicious local cuisine, where each dish is carefully prepared and served in numbered porcelain dishes, sparkling silverware, and a Villedieu-les-Poêles kitchen battery?

The decoration of the House 1949 plunges you into the 1950s, the year of reconstruction of this exceptional house, whose facade alone had survived the bombing. From your room on the second floor, admire the breathtaking view of the medieval castle. You will feel like a time traveler while enjoying modern amenities.

An independent relaxation room, furnished with soft armchairs and a sofa, is offered. A perfect place to read a book or simply contemplate the past.

The hotel quality of the bedding guarantees you a peaceful sleep. The suite can accommodate from 1 to 4 people, with an intelligent separation by a curtain for more privacy. An in-room TV and Alexa service are available. For warmer nights, a fan/fogger will be offered for absolute comfort.

You don't have to leave your room to access amenities even though the toilet and shower room are independent (a walk-in shower, a towel dryer and even a fridge to keep your refreshments at hand).

A terrace of 25m² closed invites you to enjoy the open air. With a cozy garden furniture, cozy sofas, and a barbecue, it's the perfect place to sunbathe and share unforgettable moments.

Towels and bedlinen are provided, and beds are carefully prepared for your arrival. La Maison 1949 opens its doors from 1 April to 30 October, for an experience worthy of the greatest houses.

Get ready to live an exceptional experience, a blend of tradition and modernity, in an extraordinary setting and book your stay at the Maison 1949.
