Welcome to Gîte de la Grave ! Located below the village of Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye, a stone's throw from the hiking trails and the Ubaye river, the gîte benefits from an exceptional natural environment. With its breathtaking view of the mountains and the valley, the place is conducive to relaxation and disconnection.
You will be ideally placed to discover the region, whether Haute-Ubaye, the Barcelonnette valley (its Mexican residences and its mythical passes of the Southern Alps), the Val d'Oronaye (the lakes of Roburent, the Lauzanier, Italy) and the nearby Hautes-Alpes with the nature resort of Vars and Queyras. All just less than an hour’s drive away !
Next to the gîte, many local activities and shops awaits you : grocery store, restaurants, bakery, brewery (for beer !), museums, hiking or mountain biking.
THE GITE :
In a typical Ubaye house, you will find on the ground floor:
- A large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table, a lounge area with TV and fireplace
- A separate toilet
Upstairs :
- 4 bedrooms with double beds (with the possibility of switching to single beds in one bedroom)
- A bathroom with shower
- A separate toilet
Outside, you will have access to a large, partly fenced plot of land, with a shaded terrace, deck chairs and a barbecue.
There is no Wi-Fi but the condition of the 4G network is excellent in the house and the village.
Parking is private, on the grounds.
For your comfort, a stere of wood is at your disposal (even in summer, the nights can be cool).
