Book your rental in the south of France

Would you like to get away from the rain and relax in a sunny destination? From Occitanie to the Côte d'Azur via Provence: you're spoilt for choice as there are so many regions that enjoy delightful weather. To choose your rental in the south of France, you can look at the activities and scenery, for example, which we'll cover in the next few paragraphs.

The south-west and its tasty local produce, the Riviera and its lively nightlife or the heavenly beaches of the Ile de Beauté: it's up to you to decide which rental in the south of France best suits your requirements.

The advantageous climate of southern France

To the west, the Basque country and its gentle way of life are particularly popular with tourists. Not far away, in the heart of the Midi-Pyrénées, people come to breathe in the high mountains around Saint-Lary-Soulan to discover the greatest cols that are climbed every year by the Tour de France riders. If you opt for the Languedoc-Roussillon region of Occitanie, you won't be disappointed by the local culinary specialities and rich historical heritage, such as the city of Nîmes.

The south-east of France is also full of attractive destinations. Hyères, Sanary-sur-Mer, Porto-Vecchio or Bonifacio: it's hard to choose between the idyllic beaches of the Var and Corsica for your next holiday! Those who want to sunbathe but also have fun until the end of the night should stay on the Côte d'Azur, in Saint-Tropez or near Cannes, the summer nightlife is not likely to disappoint them.

Top 5 activities in the south of France

  • The Côte d'Azur
Some people are tempted by Le Lavandou and its flower-filled setting, while others prefer Nice and its legendary Promenade des Anglais. Either way, you'll find the change of scenery you're looking for on the Côte d'Azur.
  • Provence
This offers generous gastronomy, sumptuous landscapes and an unspoilt coastline. Among its most popular destinations, it's hard to overlook Marseille and its calanques, Avignon and the Palais des Papes and all the ancient buildings of Arles.
  • L'Occitanie
You won't see time go by as there's so much to admire in this region, starting with Albi's Sainte-Cécile cathedral and the famous Millau viaduct.
  • Le Languedoc Roussillon
Carcassonne, Béziers or Narbonne: there are plenty of monuments to visit in these parts, so what are you waiting for?
  • Corsica
Famous for its charcuterie, cheeses and sandy beaches, this destination has everything you need for a colourful holiday!

The main activities to enjoy

How can you have fun around your South of France rental? By discovering the underwater flora and fauna off Corte or Calvi on the Ile de Beauté, for example. If you're not tempted by the spectacle offered to divers beneath the surface, try an ice cream on the Côte des Basques and enjoy the pirouettes performed by the surfers. Of course, you'll have plenty to do if there's more to your holiday than lounging by the sea! You're also likely to share some unforgettable moments in Cauterets or another Pyrenean ski resort where tobogganing, snowboarding and other disciplines are practised. Other popular activities include hiking and various outdoor activities such as canyoning in the Saint-Gaudens region.
