Situated between Bergerac and Sarlat, in the heart of Périgord, La Ferme de la Croix welcomes you on the route of bastides and abbeys, for a peaceful and authentic stay in the countryside. Béatrice and Frédéric welcome you to their fully-renovated Perigord barn, where comfort and conviviality come together in a verdant setting. Here, you'll enjoy a calm, family-friendly environment, ideal for recharging your batteries. The guest house has two bedrooms: One on the ground floor, with direct access to the outside. A second air-conditioned bedroom upstairs. Each room has quality bedding, en suite facilities and its own entrance. By prior arrangement, enjoy our table d'hôtes, prepared mainly with produce from the farm, or sample a board meal of local specialities (by prior arrangement only). A gourmet experience to share on the spot! Just 1 km from the village of Saint-Avit-Sénieur, whose abbey is a UNESCO World Heritage site, there are plenty of activities nearby: Relax in the large Jacuzzi (extra charge), Self-guided tour of the dairy farm, Fishing in the private pond, Hiking directly from the house. I'm originally from the south-east of France, and I've been married for several years now to Frédéric, a dairy farmer from the Périgord region, with whom I have 3 children. I recently became a grandmother! I love the Périgord countryside, hiking, good food, reading, the simple things in life... For more than 20 years, my chambres d'hôtes have enabled me to meet some wonderful people. I love sharing with my guests and guiding them during their stay.
