Just a few kilometres from Périgord, between Lot-et-Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde, come and put down your bags in an authentic, fully independent, single-storey holiday home nestling in the heart of the countryside. The spacious house (130 m²) is perfect for families or groups of friends, with its 4 well-designed bedrooms: two with double beds, one with two single beds and one with bunk beds - ideal for children or teenagers. Two shower rooms, two WCs, a large, light-filled living room with fully-equipped kitchen, lounge and fireplace for evenings out of season... But it's outside that the magic happens. Just imagine: a private heated swimming pool, just for you. A lovely covered terrace for aperitifs or al fresco meals, with the countryside as a backdrop. The garden is enclosed, perfect for letting the kids play in peace and quiet. And when it comes to activities, there's no room for boredom: - Petanque pitch, table football, table tennis, basketball hoop, etc. - A games room for the more competitive (or on rainy days!) - Fenced play area with trampoline, swing and badminton net - Bikes available for young and old, so you can explore the surrounding area at your own pace And if you're feeling restless, the region is full of treasures to discover. The bastides of Lot-et-Garonne, the gourmet markets, the picturesque villages of Périgord, the caves, the châteaux, the walks along the Dordogne or a little trip to Gironde to visit Saint-Émilion or enjoy a glass of wine. By car or by bike, you're in the heart of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, a rich, authentic and generous region. What do holidaymakers appreciate most? The peace and quiet, the space, the uninterrupted views over the countryside, and above all the warm welcome from Annie and Claude, the owners, who are always attentive without being intrusive. They'll be delighted to share their good addresses and favourite places with you if you like.

Walks, visits and leisure activities in Pays de Duras At the gateway to Périgord, the Pays de Duras in Lot-et-Garonne, bordering Gironde and Dordogne, is a melting pot of heritage, nature and gastronomy. Whether you're a lover of culture, wine, gardens or outdoor activities, you'll find plenty here to fill your days. Here is a selection of places and activities to discover during your stay. Château de Duras - Château des Ducs The Château de Duras is an unusual historic monument that combines the Middle Ages, the 17th century and the French Revolution. Visitors can wander through more than 30 restored rooms, discover a secret passage, the Ghost Room and the Model Room, and admire the architecture of this residence steeped in history. In summer, the castle comes alive with live shows: falconry demonstrations, medieval entertainment, knights, and a night-time mapping show on the monument's facades. Duras Wine House At the foot of the village, opposite the château, the Maison des Vins invites you to discover the Côtes de Duras, a multi-faceted vineyard. On site, you can taste the different colours of wine produced in the region, explore the aromas, understand the grape varieties, and stroll through the park while enjoying a superb view of the Duras countryside. Many of the region's winegrowers also offer tours throughout the year. Some organise workshops, picnics in the heart of the vineyards, or even gourmet markets in the evenings. Gardens and natural sites to visit The region is full of charming gardens and peaceful spots where you can reconnect with nature. * The Jardin de Boissonna, in Baleyssagues, has been a Jardin Remarquable since 2009. This colourful, fragrant garden is a showcase for roses. You can take a gourmet break in the shade of the trees, with tea or a rose flavoured snack. * Le Jardin de Mireille, which will be awarded the Jardin Remarquable label in 2021, welcomes you to a landscaped area where more than 300 old roses grow alongside irises, daylilies, perennials, rare trees and decorative shrubs. Wide lawned paths lead to flower-filled pergolas and a Zen corner with views over the Dropt valley. * Le Moulin de Cocussotte, in Saint-Pierre-sur-Dropt, is a peaceful spot set on an island. It houses a working water mill surrounded by ponds, waterfalls, a pontoon and well-tended gardens. The site is listed as one of France's parks and gardens. Sports and nature activities Lovers of outdoor activities have plenty of options: * signposted walks * Cycling, mountain biking, cycle tourism circuits * Horse riding * River and pond fishing * Des Chênes Toi Aventures adventure park * The Griffon park, ideal for children and teenagers Game lovers can also try their hand at Terra Aventura, a fun treasure hunt via smartphone. There are two courses in the area, and around 15 others within 15km. Local products and markets Pays de Duras is a land of flavours. Don't miss : * Traditional markets in Duras, Lévignac-de-Guyenne, Soumensac and Monteton. * Summer night markets * Gourmet markets and barbecue evenings at the winegrowers'. You'll find local produce, typical dishes and the chance to meet passionate producers, all in a convivial atmosphere.
