Cet ancien relais de chevaux sur la route des stations thermales a été construit au milieu du XIXème siècle. Acquis par la famille Vignes en 1960, il accueille des vacanciers depuis 1970. C’est tout naturellement, à la suite de ses parents, que Marc et son épouse Nicole en ont repris les rênes. Idéalement placé au coeur du Lavedan, des Pyrénées centrales, il permet de sillonner les vallées alentours : vallées de Barèges, Gavarnie, Cauterets, val d’Azun et d’autres moins connues mais toutes aussi charmantes telles que l’Estrèm de Salles, Castelloubon, Batsurguère, Estaing, … Les amateurs de vélo et vtt pourront gravir les cols mythiques : Tourmalet, Soulor, Hautacam, Aubisque, Aspin, … Proche d’Argelès-Gazost, petite cité pourvue de tous les commerces et équipements, vous pourrez aussi découvrir les marchés typiques et présentant les nombreuses spécialités locales. Pour vous détendre et vous ressourcer, les centres thermo ludiques ne sont pas loin : le Jardin des Bains (Argelès-Gazost), les Bains du Rocher (Cauterets), Luzéa (Luz Saint-Sauveur), Cieléo (Barèges). Les randonneurs pourront rejoindre d’innombrables sentiers de tous niveaux : de la simple promenade à l’ascension des sommets, le choix sera difficile … Le Parc National des Pyrénées offre également son cadre préservé et est accessible depuis plusieurs entrées.
