If you'd like to find out more about this unique countryside setting, just 2 minutes from Foix town centre, the first shops and leisure facilities and its famous castle perched on a rocky outcrop. This 30 m2 timber-framed studio, adjoining the owner Françoise's house, has independent access. You have the option of parking close to the gîte in a cul-de-sac, or using a private, secure garage. The gîte is wonderfully bright thanks to its glazed French windows opening onto two sheltered terraces, one of which is embellished by a flower-filled pergola. The gîte is very well equipped: a sleeping area with a very comfortable bed (140 cm wide) made up on arrival (sheets, towels and household linen provided free of charge), an office area (free Wi-Fi), a living room/kitchenette and a shower room (hairdryer). A small library at your disposal: local novels, tourist guides for your future visits and places to discover in Ariège. There is also an air humidifier. Your hostess, Françoise, will be delighted to welcome you and introduce you to La Roseraie du Barbet and its local environment. Foix is at the heart of an Ariège region with an exceptional historical heritage. On site, you can visit the Château which, from the top of its rock, dominates the whole town of Foix. Nature lovers and walkers will love the Pech terraces just above Foix, where they can discover the history of the area, or take a refreshing dip in the mythical Ariège river...
