Description
A TERRACE OVERLOOKING THE SEA Welcome to "Port-en-Bessin", a busy fishing port in Calvados nicknamed "Normandy's Saint-Tropez" by Françoise Sagan. This authentic 18th-century fisherman's house is located in the first alleyway of the old port. It has an exceptional view over the outer harbour, the sea and the open sea, offering a multitude of landscapes that change with the tides. From its terrace, where the sea meets the sky, you can watch the gulls, paint the waves, follow the trawlers or simply enjoy a drink and sample the produce from the market. We have tried to recapture the soul of this house without forgetting to provide all the comforts you need for an unforgettable stay. This "Portaise" has three levels: First floor: "bedroom with a view" (master suite with 160cm bed and en-suite shower room). A bright ground floor with living room (open-plan kitchen and dining room with fireplace) + terrace. Exceptional sea views both inside and out. A mezzanine with a cosy lounge (sofa, TV, etc.) opening onto a small, sunny English courtyard, bathroom and two adjoining bedrooms: one with a 140cm bed and the other with a 160cm bed (divisible into 2 80cm beds for 2 children/adolescents).
