Spacious guest room in a character house As soon as you arrive at the Maison de Massigoux, you will be immersed in a warm and friendly atmosphere. This large building is an old 18th century farmhouse tastefully renovated and enhanced. In the dining room, the cantou (large Auvergne fireplace) and the souillarde (former “kitchen”) have been preserved. These elements of the original architecture and the rustic furniture underline the country style of the place. You will have your breakfasts and dinners in this living room which exudes an authentic and warm atmosphere, one where you feel good right away. In fine weather, breakfast will be served in the peaceful, green setting of the garden. Back home after a walk, you will appreciate this haven of peace for your relaxing breaks in the deckchairs. The Puy Griou bed and breakfast owes its name to a mountain in Cantal recognizable by its majestic dome. Located on the 1st floor, away from the other bedrooms, this 45 m² suite will provide you with the privacy you need for your stay as a couple or as a family. You will be charmed by the fireplace and the old parquet floor of this room which can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. It is furnished with 3 beds: 1 King size canopy bed and 2 single beds, on request a baby kit is provided. It has a pretty bathroom with retro decor with shower, washbasin and private toilet. From the small lounge area, you will appreciate the view of the garden, the surrounding countryside and the town below. The room has free Wi-Fi access. The room rate varies according to the number of occupants. The house offers, on the second floor, 4 other guest rooms. In the evening, upon reservation, you can dine at Laurence's table. She will delight you with dishes prepared from tasty local products, some of which come from organic farming. Laurence is a native of the Jordanne Valley. She will share with you her good addresses or even interesting places off the beaten track.
