Description

Inspired by my native country, I wanted to salvage sea containers and put them to good use, so that you could enjoy an unusual holiday on the beautiful island of Martinique. In the Netherlands, entire cities are built from containers. Here, 7 containers make up Villa Volcart n°4. Nestling on Morne Volcart, in Sainte Luce, this container accommodation has its own very special cachet for a holiday that's literally OUT OF THE BOX. Designed by architect Henk Stadens (De Zwarte Hond, Netherlands), with clean lines, white and wood. Surrounded by tropical greenery. Kitchen outside, hammock with sea view, wife's head lying on the bed, boats passing by from the terrace, sunsets over Le Diamant during the aperitif.....
