A character cottage in a traditional Auvergne house “L'Orrucodou”, a solid stone building, built in 1887, welcomes you to the hamlet of Les Chazes. At 1,100 meters above sea level, this traditional Auvergne house is one with the surrounding mountain. This cottage, 75 m², is spread over 2 levels. It can accommodate 6 people. During your stay, you will benefit from a warm and authentic interior design. The living room, on the ground floor, is organized around a large fireplace called cantou. This space now receives a wood stove. In winter or in the off-season, you will enjoy gathering around the fire. (wood is provided). In this main room, the kitchen area is equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals (fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, raclette/fondue set, dishwasher). And to get the day off to a good start, an espresso machine awaits you. The rental includes 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with walk-in shower. On the ground floor, you will have a bedroom and a bathroom with washing machine. A wooden staircase leads upstairs. The attic, furnished with great care, has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. A baby kit (cot, bath, high chair) is available, don't forget to ask for it before your arrival. In the basement, you will enjoy playing a frenzied game of foosball! For a refreshing family outing, head for the Faillitoux waterfall in Thiézac. The waterfall offers an impressive 40m waterfall that falls from a stunning volcanic cliff.
