The house, set in the heart of a 20-hectare private estate, enjoys an ideal geographical location. It is situated in the middle of the golden triangle of Les Eyzies (the Cro-Magnon man), Montignac (the Lascaux IV caves) and Sarlat (the medieval city). This air-conditioned 19th-century house has been completely renovated using local materials. An interior designer helped us choose the colours and furniture to give you a 95m2 space full of charm and refinement. We welcome you with a local hamper on arrival to sample the delicacies of our region. If you're an early riser, you'll be lucky enough to spot some roe deer, which will accompany you during breakfast. During the day, you can relax in the private heated swimming pool (4.5 x 11 m) with its large 100 m2 terrace made of exotic wood and the gentle song of the cicadas... In the evening, you can enjoy a drink on the house terrace with family or friends, watching the magnificent sunset. The 2 bedrooms have 43-inch flat-screen TVs. The "Marronniers de Salon" house enjoys a privileged location. Situated on a high point, it overlooks the Vézère valley. The property's 20 hectares provide an exceptional viewpoint and give this place peace and serenity. Below is the heart of the small village of Sergeac, bordered by high cliffs at the foot of which numerous prehistoric sites have been discovered and can still be visited today. The presence of this ancient heritage, the proximity of the river, the picturesque and varied relief of this valley and the beautiful scenery make for very pleasant walking, thanks to the well-marked footpaths and the extensive woodland and varied vegetation. And don't miss the typical, friendly farmers' markets in the various surrounding villages. Make the most of your holiday, we can book visits to caves or castles for you on request, show you the best restaurants, suggest unusual horse or pony rides with a dip in the river, and suggest the best routes for walking or mountain biking. Pets accepted (one pet per family) Swimming pool open from the beginning of May to the end of September, equipped with an electric submerged cover. At the beginning and end of the season (i.e. early May and late September), we cannot guarantee optimum swimming temperature due to the cool outside temperatures. __
