Located halfway between Tournay and Bagnères-de-Bigorre, the village of Cieutat extends over a plateau and offers an exceptional view of the Pyrenees. If you wish, Aline and Georges will be happy to show you, according to your level, the possible hikes in the middle or high mountains as well as access to the numerous rivers, torrents and high altitude lakes for a fishing trip. IGN maps supplied. The thermal baths of Bagnères de Bigorre 7 kms away and Capvern les Bains 14 kms away will also be a source of activity. For cyclists, it is possible to climb the Col du Tourmalet, the Col d'Aspin or the Hourquette d'Ancizan from the gîte. You can then maintain, wash and park your bikes in the owners' garage.
