La Cale holiday rental is located on the 1st floor of a beautiful old private mansion, close to the church of Cancale in the upper town. The magnificent Pointe du Hock, overlooking the Port de la Houle, the oyster beds and the Rimains, is a 3-minute walk away. In addition to the flat, on sunny days you can enjoy the fully enclosed garden with trees and flowers (shared with another flat). Cancale is a dynamic town made up of two parts: - the lower town with its port, the old fishermen's quarter and restaurants - the upper town with its church, shops and museum. Numerous beaches, both developed and unspoilt, line the GR 34, which circles the town. You can also explore the region by car, bus or train: Saint-Malo, Dinard, Dinan, Dol-de-Bretagne, Combourg and Rennes are all well worth a visit. And don't forget Mont Saint-Michel, which can be seen in the Bay and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. * The seasonal rental for 1 to 2 people, located on the 1st floor, comprises : - a well-equipped kitchen with a table for 2 people (dishwasher, oven, microwave, 4 ceramic hobs, etc). - a separate bedroom for 2 people (140 cm bed) with a small sitting area (view of the church of Cancale) - 1 separate WC - 1 bathroom (sea view!) with vanity unit and bathtub - Washing machine in an outbuilding (shared with another flat). * The exterior - The property is fully enclosed. Access is via the gate on the front facade. You can easily discover on the West side Saint-Coulomb and its magnificent beaches, Saint-Malo, Dinard, and on the East side the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel. Take advantage of the comfort of this flat provided with sheets and towels, of its shaded garden, of its bicycle shed / laundry room with its numerous leisure facilities. A l'extrême ouest de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel, près de Saint-Malo, Cancale est le seul port de la côte Nord, exposé Sud ! Vous trouverez en contre-bas le port de la Houle toujours animé, sur les hauteurs le bourg vivant de Cancale, une zone commerciale, et sur tout le littoral le long du GR 34 des plages très différentes. Cancale offre des panoramas splendides sur ses îles et ses célèbres parcs à huître. La maison est située dans le bourg de Cancale, à deux pas l'église et du marché le dimanche matin. Retrouvez aussi commerces, restaurants, épiceries, galeries. Le marché aux huîtres est ouvert toute l'année pour les déguster en toute simplicité ! Vous pourrez facilement rejoindre à pied le port, le sentier des douaniers, qui vous mènera à la Pointe de Grouin. C'est également de cette pointe que La Route du Rhum prend le départ tous les 4 ans. RDV cette année le 6 novembre 2022 !
