Description
In Les Deux Alpes, in the village of Venosc at an altitude of 1000m, the "Asphodèle" gîte offers spacious accommodation for your holidays. This gîte is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a holiday close to a major ski area (Les 2 Alpes), a village atmosphere and contact with the mountains and nature. The dining room/kitchen, with its functional equipment, welcomes you around a large table seating 14. All five bedrooms are equipped with shower and toilet. A series of terraces on the east-facing landing have been laid out for convivial moments in the sun around a large wooden garden table. The garden and swimming pool (40m away) are freely accessible (the pool is accessible in summer only). The balneotherapy area with sauna, hammam and whirlpool baths is the perfect place to relax after a hard day's work (shared SPA area). You'll enjoy the life of Venosc, with its small restaurants/bar, craft shops and local grocery shop. Winter activities In winter, l'Asphodèle is 6 minutes from the cable car that will take you to Les 2 Alpes. At the top of the gondola, you can go to the Venosc Sports shop, which rents out your ski and snowboard equipment and stores it in secure, heated ski lockers. So you can return to Venosc in the evening without carrying your equipment. In winter, you can also walk along the snow-covered paths alongside the Vénéon torrent. Summer activities In summer, choose l'Asphodèle for the mountains and their many activities, including road cycling to the Galibier or Glandon passes, or downhill cycling to Les 2 Alpes. Mountain biking, paragliding, white water sports, via ferrata, horse riding... etc
