The "Gite Azalée et Pimprenelle" is located in Jenzat in the Allier region of Auvergne, 300 metres from the River Sioule. The "Azalée" room, which has its own bathroom, can be rented on its own, as a bed and breakfast by the night. Please contact us for details. The gîte can be rented for 3 nights or more, with daily check-in possible and sliding-scale rates from the 4th night upwards. This nicely renovated 100 m² house can accommodate 4 people. The charming village of Jenzat, 2 km away, boasts a luthier's house, a museum retracing the fascinating history of hurdy-gurdy making in Jenzat, and a painted church. For exploring: Paléopolis (10 km), Chantelle and the Bouble gorges (12 km), Fleuriel and its museum of the peasant soldier (17 km), the Sioule gorges (18 km), Saint Pourçain sur Sioule and its vineyards (19 km), Vichy (22 km), Moulins sur Allier (50 km), Clermont-Fd (50 km), Le Pal or Vulcania (60 km).... but also pretty villages with character (Charroux, Bellenaves...), sporting activities (horse-riding, canoeing, vélorail...) etc!
