The house is located in a quéreux (private courtyard not closed), traditional habitat of the region, and you will be enchanted by the calm of the place and the singing of birds. Access to the bus stop in one minute (regular time crossings). You will appreciate the location of this house: just 5 kms from Fouras and its beaches (10 min by bike), Fort Vauban, the ferry leading to the island of Aix and Fort Boyard, 12kms from Rochefort, 15 kms from Châtelaillon-Plage, 20 kms from La Rochelle. In the village near the house: grocery store, bar/tobacconist, pharmacy, hairdresser, massage parlour, library, church, 9-hole golf course, tennis court, basketball court, children's amusement park, paintball, restaurant, hiking trails, cycle paths, walk along marshes and tiles. We would be delighted to welcome you to our gîte, which is an old barn that has been completely renovated, ideal for cocooning, just a stone's throw from the ocean. We have a Cavalier King Charles dog, Djanko, who loves to see new visitors, and 3 cats, who roam freely in our haven of peace!
