The gîte is close to many activities: * Skiing: the Couraduque ski resort, close to the gite, offers 100 km of marked runs for all levels. There is a restaurant, equipment hire, treadmills (Nordic Parc) and relaxation areas in the heart of the forest, * Hiking: the Val d'Azun is a paradise for hikers. The area is criss-crossed by trails for all abilities. Booklets and information on nearby activities are available in the rental accommodation. * Mountain biking: the Val d'Azun's mountain bike trails are renowned for their quality and diversity, and bike hire is available nearby. * Heritage: the Val d'Azun has a rich cultural and historical heritage. You can visit many picturesque villages, Romanesque churches and museums. * Cycling_: the Val d'Azun is an ideal playground for cyclists. The major cols of the Tour de France, such as the Tourmalet, Aubisque and Soulor, are all within easy reach.
