Description
*** Welcome to Gîte La Métairie Maison Laudatosi - A Haven of Peace in the Heart of Lot *** Nestled in an enchanting setting at the place called Bel Air, between Figeac and Rocamadour, our gîte is situated amidst meadows and woods, offering a refuge of tranquility and serenity for restful vacations or a discerning retreat. An Authentic and Environmentally-Friendly Setting Our former 19th-century farmhouse has been restored using traditional techniques, with a strong commitment to integral ecology. The materials used, such as exposed beams and stones, come from local businesses located within a 20 km radius, ensuring a low environmental impact and a deep respect for local cultural heritage. Comfort and Authenticity The 70 m² gîte, accommodating up to 4 people, offers a warm and authentic atmosphere: * On the ground floor, a large, bright living space with a lounge, dining area, and open kitchen. * Upstairs, two comfortable bedrooms: the "Bergeronnette" room with a double bed (160x200) and the "Sittelle" room with two single beds (90x190). * Outdoors: a private garden with a terrace, garden furniture, and barbecue to enjoy the long summer evenings. An Eco-Responsible Stay We have chosen a pellet stove for heating, sourced from a local sawmill, to reduce our energy footprint. Soon, recyclable solar panels will further enhance our sustainable approach. Additionally, we are installing a rainwater harvesting system to water our organic vegetable garden, cultivated according to agroecological principles. Quality Services For optimal comfort, we provide: * 100% cotton or wool bed linen, selected for its ethical origin and French manufacturing. * Bed linens and towels included, with beds made upon your arrival. * Cleaning service included. A Commitment to Nature and Humanity Our approach goes beyond ecology: we also offer personalized support for discernment. If you are contemplating a life change, your vocation, or a family project, you can benefit from our professional and personal experience to find answers serenely in a calming natural setting.
