The advantages of the accommodation
Description
There's a discreet place, tucked away in the heart of the Normandy countryside, where you can hear the murmur of water more clearly than the hustle and bustle of the world. That place is Le Clos de Sée, in Juvigny les Vallées. Here, a small path leads you into a world apart: a green setting, a pond where you can fish peacefully, a living garden sculpted by nature... and by the artistic eye of Dragica and Gérard. Together, they welcome you as friends, with simplicity, generosity and a few well-kept secrets about La Manche. The cosy, comfortable gîte also invites you to relax. View over the water from the sheltered terrace, fully equipped kitchen (coffee machine, toaster, hob, fridge, microwave, oven....), comfortable bedroom with 160cm bed, soft sofa and television, shower room (shower and wc). Nothing is missing, except perhaps... stress. Here, you take the time to read, fish and dream. Time to simply feel good. Situated near Brécey and Juvigny les Vallées, Le Clos de Sée is an excellent base from which to explore the wealth of the south Manche region. Just a few kilometres away, the waterfalls of Mortain offer a breathtaking natural spectacle. The more contemplative will appreciate the walks around the Roche qui Boit lake or in the Sée valley, a land of fishermen and hikers. Heritage lovers can visit Hambye Abbey, the medieval town of Villedieu-les-Poêles or, a little further afield, Mont-Saint-Michel. For epicureans, the local markets and cider and cheese producers will delight your taste buds. Whatever the season, this corner of Normandy is full of gentle, inspiring activities in keeping with the spirit of the gîte.

Dragica & Gérard
Clévacances owner since February 2025
At Le Clos de Sée, hospitality is an art that Dragica and Gérard cultivate with sincere generosity in their property, built around 1750 in the time of Napoleon, entirely in stone and set in 2 hectares of land. Discreet but always available, they take good care of their guests. Their attentiveness and love of nature help to create a peaceful, friendly atmosphere. Lovers of their region, they like to share their favourite places, those 'secret corners' and confidential addresses that make up the richness of La Manche. Thanks to them, your stay becomes more than just a moment's rest: it's an authentic, human immersion in the south of the département.
