Description

In a beautiful, typically Alsatian village with many flowers (classified 3 flowers), we offer 2 rooms in the outbuildings of an old farmhouse. They are equipped with private bathrooms. - 7th night free. - Kitchenette available. - Separate entrance. - Hearty Alsatian breakfast served in a dining room reserved for guests. - For stays without breakfast, please contact us for prices. - Animals not accepted Our village is also famous for its great folk festival "Streisselhochzeit" (re-enactment of a peasant wedding in the 1900s). It takes place every year on the weekend after 14 July, starting on Friday evening and finishing on Sunday evening. The village borders the Vosges du Nord Regional Nature Park, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. The neighbouring town of Wissembourg (9 km away) is one of the most beautiful detours in France. Maginot Line defences are located nearby. As well as exploring the multitude of picturesque villages, you can visit the Château Fort du Fleckenstein, the Maison rurale de l' Outre-Forêt, the Oil Museum, the Soufflenheim potteries...
