The advantages of the accommodation
Description
In a peaceful hamlet just a short distance from the sea, Anne-Marie and Daniel open the doors of their charming gîte, a stone cocoon nestled in a peaceful hamlet, near the Phare de Gatteville lighthouse. Designed as a true refuge between heaven, earth, and sea, this place combines authenticity, comfort, and serenity. Upon arrival, the tranquility of the place takes effect: a stone building typical of the Cotentin region, the sound of the wind, and, in the distance, the sound of the sea. This cozy 70 m² gîte is spread over two levels in a semi-detached construction. The separate entrance opens onto a comfortable living room with a sofa, TV, and a wood-burning stove that adds a cozy touch. The open kitchen is fully equipped: ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. Upstairs, two cozy bedrooms can accommodate up to four people: a double bedroom (140 x 190 cm bed), a bedroom with two single beds (90 x 190 cm). A baby bed is available. Each room has its own bathroom (shower, sink, toilet). The cottage offers a south-facing terrace to enjoy the gentle Normandy afternoons, equipped with garden furniture, sunbeds, and a barbecue. A pleasant garden shared with the owners is also available. The whole is located not far from the sea's edge, in a serene setting conducive to relaxation and in harmony with the nature that surrounds the tip of the Cotentin. All charges are included (heating, electricity). Linen (sheets, towels) is offered as an option, as well as a cleaning service at the end of the stay. Pets are not allowed. Wi-Fi is available. Discounts may be applied for stays for two people or for several weeks.
Home
Anne-Marie and Daniel welcome you with a smile, a genuine desire to share their corner of paradise, and a natural friendliness that immediately puts you at ease. When you arrive, they'll take the time to show you around the house, explain all the little tricks of the trade, and give you a few good local addresses - the ones you won't find in the guidebooks, but which make all the difference. Whether you've come in search of rest, the great outdoors or to discover new things, they'll know how to adapt to your wishes: discreet if you want privacy, present if you need advice or information. Lovers of their region and connoisseurs of the Cotentin, they will be delighted to point you in the direction of the most beautiful viewpoints, the most peaceful walks, or the best market in the area. At Anne-Marie and Daniel's, you'll quickly feel "at home" - but with that little extra touch of soul that makes holidays a real treat.
