Welcome to Gîte Postel, a holiday home designed to accommodate up to 10 people. Whether you’re travelling with family or friends, every effort has been made to ensure you enjoy a cosy holiday whilst making the most of all that Barfleur has to offer. As soon as you arrive, you’ll appreciate the spaciousness and cosy atmosphere of this house. On the ground floor, you’ll find the living room, complete with a fireplace; the conservatory, overlooking the garden, features a large table where meals can stretch into the evening; and the separate kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment)… everything you need to cook just like at home. There is also a double bedroom, ideal for those wishing to avoid stairs, with a shower room and separate toilet nearby. Upstairs, two further bedrooms complete the accommodation, along with a bathroom and a separate toilet. Baby equipment is available: a wooden cot, high chair, changing table, pushchair, potty and toys are provided free of charge. Outside, the fully enclosed garden allows children to play in complete safety whilst the adults relax on the sun loungers or organise a game of pétanque. Summer meals can be enjoyed around the barbecue after a busy day by the sea. Ten bicycles are available free of charge (for children and adults). This is a great opportunity to explore the back roads of the Val de Saire, head to the nearby harbour and its shops, or cycle along the coast without having to take the car. And because holidays are even better when shared, your pets are welcome at no extra cost. Heating is included in the price so you can enjoy your stay whatever the season. For your convenience, bed linen is available for hire and an end-of-stay cleaning service is available. Listed among the “Most Beautiful Villages of France”, Barfleur charms visitors with its harbour, granite houses and seaside atmosphere. Take a stroll along the quays, sample Barfleur’s mussels, visit the Gatteville lighthouse or follow the GR223 trail that runs along the coast. The Val de Saire also offers lovely walks through the countryside, between the sea, the bocage and small villages. The Gîte Postel is a convenient base from which to explore this part of the Cotentin. After a day at the beach, a bike ride or a tour of the surrounding area, return to the peace and quiet of the house and enjoy time with family or friends.
