Situated in Gizeux, in Indre-et-Loire, just 1.5 km from the village centre, the Gîte de la Bouchardière welcomes you to a peaceful setting in the heart of the countryside. This former 19th-century house was fully restored in 2006, preserving its authentic character whilst offering comfort, space and a wide range of facilities. With its spacious rooms and three bedrooms, the gîte can accommodate up to eight people. It is ideal for family reunions and holidays with friends, as well as for families wishing to enjoy a relaxing break in the countryside. On the ground floor, the house features a cosy conservatory with a pool table, a fully equipped kitchen with induction hobs, a built-in deep-fat fryer and a refrigerated wine cellar, as well as a lounge with a television and home cinema system. A shower room, a toilet, a utility room and an extra bed complete this level. A computer and Wi-Fi are also available. Upstairs, there are two air-conditioned bedrooms: the first has a 160 cm bed and a 90 cm bed, whilst the second has a 140 cm bed and a 90 cm bed. The holiday home offers a dedicated leisure, relaxation and wellness area for the whole family, with its spacious pool house of around 200 m². Here you can enjoy a heated swimming pool, a spa and a relaxation area, accessible all year round. The pool enclosure can also be heated on request using a fan heater and/or a pellet stove, allowing you to make the most of this space whatever the season. The pool house also features a shower room and toilet on the ground floor, as well as a third air-conditioned bedroom upstairs with four 90 cm beds. The facilities have been designed with the whole family in mind, from the little ones to the grandparents: baby equipment, a playground, bicycles of various sizes, a boules court and a badminton court ensure there’s something for everyone. Outside, the garden, terrace and various leisure areas invite you to make the most of the peaceful countryside. A garage is also available. The beds are made on arrival, and bed linen and household linen are included in the price. Cleaning is charged separately. The gîte is non-smoking and pets are not permitted.
