Hi, we live in the south-west of France and have always hiked and skied in the Pyrenees. We fell in love with this magnificent 19th century building with its marble facade, balconies and capucines. We have renovated and fitted it out, limiting the number of beds, to make it a pleasant flat to live in. Cauterets is a magical place, with extraordinary snow cover; and in summer, in the Pyrenees National Park, the hiking is magnificent, with many peaks and lakes. The village boasts a full range of facilities (including a balneo spa, Les Bains du Rocher; and also a very pleasant municipal swimming pool, an ice rink, tennis, mini-golf, cinema, games room, library, etc.). Everything is within walking distance of the flat!
