A few days before the start of your stay, you will receive a message (email, text message, phone call, etc.) to arrange a flexible arrival time. Hélène, the owner of the gîte, will welcome you. On the day of your arrival, as soon as your GPS indicates that there is still an hour to drive, please let me know. I've lived in the village of Montpezat sous Bauzon since I was born, so I'm always available for my guests and know the area very well. The tour of the house will start with the entrance hall, the large living room with its fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area, the exit onto the route de la Gravenne, the 1st and 2nd floors accessed by a modern spiral staircase (iron/wood). We will carry out an inventory of fixtures and complete the administrative file (balance of payment, deposit, etc.). I will answer any questions you may have. Before letting you take possession of the property, we'll discuss your departure time! Enjoy your stay.

The entrance to the gîte is at: 406 route de Pourcherolles, Quartier Ville Basse, 07560 Montpezat-sous-Bauzon. Coming from AUBENAS => LALEVADE D'ARDECHE => PONT DE LABEAUME, just after the MONTPEZAT and zone 30 signs, the entrance to the courtyard (beige gravel) is a little further up on the left. Coming from the Plateau Ardéchois => SAINT CIRGUES EN MONTAGNE, drive through the village of MONTPEZAT (about 1 km), then a few metres after the speed bump, on the right, you will see the entrance to the courtyard. The gate is in black wrought iron. The courtyard has beige gravel. Possibility of parking 3 to 4 vehicles.

For me, the completion of the renovation of this house is a precious gift from all my family and friends. Wooden floors and staircases, stone/sand/wood partitions, small rooms and tiny openings, walls blackened by soot or whitewashed, an attic lined with hay and straw, have all made way for a spacious, light-filled living room, three bedrooms and a bathroom, and a children's area and shower room under the roof.
