For hiking enthusiasts, the GR 559 offers a 95 km itinerary linking the plains to the mountains, from Lons-le-Saunier, the spa town and birthplace of Rouget de Lisle, to the Les Rousses resort. Along the way, you'll discover the hidden valleys of Conliège, the Premier Plateau, the Combe d'Ain, Lake Chalain, the Hedgehog valley and waterfalls, the 4 lakes site, the Bonlieu and Abbaye lakes and the Bienne valley. In winter, just 29 km from the "LES MARAIS" resort, with 35 km of skating and alternative runs, linked to the Chapelle-des-Bois ski area, signposted snowshoeing and walking routes, and a toboggan area. The Espace Douceur, at the start of the cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails, is a heated non-sacred room where you can relax and eat. 1 rental and a ski school (ESF) Doucier is 45 km from the Les Rousses Alpine ski resort.
