Come and recharge your batteries in this cosy typical house, which can accommodate up to 10 people, in the heart of the medieval town of Issigeac. For a few days, a weekend or a longer stay, with friends or family, this house is ideal for groups. Tastefully renovated, this spacious gîte combines comfort and authenticity in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Let yourself be seduced by the architecture of this circular village, with its narrow streets and hidden gardens as you walk along. Many artists will be delighted to welcome you to their studios to share their passion. Whatever the season, on Sunday mornings you can enjoy one of the prettiest markets in the Dordogne. In summer, the village and its shopkeepers put on a host of events, including night markets, gourmet markets, festive evenings, concerts, flea markets, medieval fairs, lantern-lit evening visits and pétanque competitions. In the surrounding area, bastides, châteaux, prehistoric sites, walks, picnics and swimming await you. Famous vineyards and wine cellars are never far away (Monbazillac, Bergerac, Pécharmant). On a practical level, Issigeac has a post office, pharmacy, doctors and dentist, grocery shops, bakeries, butchers, cafés, pubs and restaurants, as well as emergency and security services.
