A holiday flat with garden in a former health resort We invite you to book this holiday rental on the ground floor of a two-storey house in the heart of the Cantal region, in Vic-sur-Cère, a former spa town. More specifically, it's a self-contained 25 m2 flat, comfortably accommodating 2 people looking to recharge their batteries in a leafy setting. It includes a bedroom with a 140 cm bed and a 60x120 cm child's bed. This holiday flat also has a living room and kitchen area, both of which are fully equipped. These include a TV, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Outside, you can relax in the garden furniture, whether you're enjoying an aperitif or simply taking in the colours. You're also free to make the most of the barbecue at lunchtime or dinnertime, a great way to enjoy the culinary specialities of the Auvergne. Are you travelling to the Cantalien region by car or motorbike? You can park your vehicle in the courtyard of the property. Although the property has an enclosed garden, unfortunately pets are not allowed. Near our Vic-sur-Cère holiday rental: the Pas de Cère gorges and medieval towns The relaxing setting of our holiday rental is matched only by the attractiveness of the surrounding area, explored by many travellers every year! To immerse yourself in Cantalien culture, we suggest you start by visiting two of Vic-sur-Cère's most emblematic buildings, the church of Saint-Pierre and the Chapelle du Calvaire. While you can admire the superb stained-glass windows in the former, you can also see the exhibitions held there on a regular basis in the latter. Leaving from our village, our guests then have the opportunity to marvel at the Pas de Cère gorges, a naturally preserved glacial lock. For the same nature lovers, we also suggest climbing to the summits of Puy Mary and Puy Griou, which offer breathtaking views! Two other places in the surrounding area where flora and fauna flourish are the Cirque du Falgoux and Lac de Sarrans. We also recommend a visit to Salers and Murat, two medieval towns around twenty kilometres from Vic. An aquatic centre, a golf course and a ski resort around Vic-sur-Cère You don't have to go far from our accommodation in the Cantal to enjoy yourself. In fact, there are a number of activities available not far from our address, but also within Vic-sur-Cère itself. These include swimming at the local aquatic centre, with its two large supervised pools. Outside the summer period, you can hire one of the tennis courts at Avenue André Mercier, if you're a fan of the little yellow ball. To keep you busy for a few hours and get your adrenaline flowing, there's the Casino, located in the Comblat area, which is renowned for its many slot machines. Of course, there are plenty of leisure activities available in the area around Vic-sur-Cère. For example, there's the Vezac golf club, within easy reach of the town. Then there's aquatic hiking, which is very popular in the Gorges de la Jordanne. And let's not forget all the activities on offer to visitors to the resort of Le Lioran, just twenty minutes north-west of our holiday flat. As well as skiing and other board sports, mountain biking and paintballing are also available.
