By car: head to Saint-Malo and then on to the Pointe de la Varde/Rothéneuf area. Private car park available on site. By train: Saint-Malo SNCF station is listed as 4 km away on the information sheet. It is served by TGV INOUI and BreizhGo TER services; you will then need to take a MAT bus, a taxi or your own vehicle to reach the house. By bus: the MAT network serves Rothéneuf. For summer 2026, routes 3 and 4 both terminate at Rothéneuf Les Îlots; route 3 connects Rothéneuf to Intra-Muros. By plane: for regular commercial flights, Rennes Bretagne Airport is the most suitable option; according to the airport’s travel information pages, the journey to Saint-Malo takes approximately 40 to 50 minutes. A car, hire car or combination of transport options is still required to complete the journey. By boat: Saint-Malo has a ferry terminal at La Naye. Brittany Ferries operates the Portsmouth–Saint-Malo route, amongst others; a taxi or local transport is then required to reach Rothéneuf.
