Here's a map to get to Gîte Le Clos Duchesse in Lusigny-sur-Barse (10270), about 15 km east of Troyes. 🚗 By car This is the most practical means of transport for exploring the Forêt d'Orient Nature Park. From Paris (around 2h15): Take the A5 motorway towards Troyes/Chaumont. Take exit 21 (Saint-Thibault). Follow the signs for the Parc de la Forêt d'Orient via the D619 to Lusigny-sur-Barse. From Reims (about 1 hour 15 minutes): Take the A26 motorway towards Troyes. Join the A5 then take exit 21 or continue on the D619 depending on your itinerary. From Lyon (approx. 3h30): Follow the A6 then the A5 towards Paris/Troyes. Take exit 21. 🚆 By train Arrival station: Troyes station (located approximately 15-20 minutes from the gîte). There are direct trains (TER) linking Paris-Est to Troyes in around 1 hour 30 minutes. Once at Troyes station, you can hire a car, take a taxi/VTC, or use the bus network. There is also a small railway stop at Lusigny-sur-Barse, but it has very limited services (check the SNCF timetables). 🚌 By bus The gîte is accessible via the regional network Fluo Grand Est 10 : Troyes - Lusigny-sur-Barse line: Coaches provide a regular service between Troyes station and the centre of Lusigny-sur-Barse (journey time approx. 30 minutes). Recommended stops: "Mairie Ecole" or "Centre", just a few minutes' walk from the gîte. ✈️ By plane Paris-Vatry Airport (XCR): Approximately 80 km away (1 hour's drive). This is the nearest airport, mainly served by low-cost flights. Paris airports (Orly or Charles de Gaulle): Located around 180km away (2h to 2h30 drive). From there, you can take a train to Troyes or hire a car.
