The gîte is close to the Gévaudan wolf park, which young and old alike will love visiting. A signposted mountain bike trail leads to the park. There are also many signposted and unmarked footpaths to explore. If you're a keen cyclist, there are plenty of small roads where you can explore this magnificent département without passing more than a dozen cars for 50 km. If you fancy a refreshing dip, there are two lakes just twenty minutes away, Le Ganivet to the east and Le Moulinet to the west. For the little ones, there's a swimming area on the Colagne at Saint Léger de Peyre.
Access map
The gîte is in the hamlet of Espères in the commune of Saint Léger de Peyre, around twenty minutes from the A75 motorway (exit 38 Le Buisson). On leaving the motorway, head north towards Saint Sauveur de Peyre, pass Saint Sauveur without entering it, then turn right 2 km later towards Combechave, Chapchiniès. After passing through Chapchiniès, join the D2 and head south. After about 1 km, turn left towards Frayssinet and Espères. The house is in the middle of the village of Espères.
